Milk Thistle - Silybum marianum

Milk Thistle - Silybum marianum

Origin: Alien from southern Europe, planted in our herb garden by myself

Status: Annual, considered a noxious weed, will reseed and spread, I keep it in check by cutting off the heads before they fly away and create a problem, grown for its health benefits as a liver tonic
